Getting started
From zero to your first scheduled post in about five minutes. No credit card needed for the free tier.
1. Create your account
Sign up with email + password, or with Google/Apple if you prefer one-click. We'll create your default workspace automatically.
2. Tell us about your brand
On first sign-in we walk you through a short wizard. You'll set three things that affect every AI rewrite afterwards:
- Niche — what you post about (e.g. fitness coaching, indie SaaS, food content). Specific beats broad.
- Brand voice — describe your tone in 1–3 sentences. "Punchy, slightly sarcastic, never uses buzzwords like game-changing."
- Brand keywords — phrases you naturally use. Comma-separated, up to five. AI sprinkles them in without forcing.
You can change these any time in Settings → Brand voice. The AI also has a "Refine from my best posts" button that learns your style from posts that performed well.
3. Connect your first social
You can connect up to 9 platforms. The free plan lets you wire up 3 to start. Click any of these and you'll be sent through standard OAuth — Flowtive never sees your password.

4. Write your first post
Go to Create in the sidebar. Type one base caption, attach media if you have it, then pick which platforms get it.
The composer then offers two superpowers:
- AI rewrite per platform — one click and your base caption is reshaped for each platform's native tone (LinkedIn = professional + question, X = punchy with line breaks, TikTok = energetic with a hook).
- Per-platform overrides — open any platform tab and edit its caption manually if the AI didn't nail it. Manual edits stick across regenerations.
5. Schedule or post now
When you're happy, choose Post now for an immediate publish or Schedule to queue it. The schedule picker suggests "your best time" based on the historical engagement of your posts on each platform — once you have at least a week of data, this gets surprisingly good.
